№7 Mursalski Red Ale

Our second beer is truly a miracle. We brewed a red ale once again using German and Belgian malts but adding more additions such as chocolate and amber malt for colour and complexity of body. We decided to go for the bittering power of German/American hop Magnum as well as using some Bulgarian Cascade for it’s gentler bitterness and delicate aroma. However, the most interesting additions were two different herbs - Bulgarian mint and Mursalski tea! The unique combination of the these herbs, their flavour and aromatic profiles, the other traits emanating from the hops and malts of the beer – all caressed together with the Belgian yeast, leads to a truly unforgettable beer drinking experience, one that has never been had before.
