Wow. Still tasting pretty fantastic. Almost like a sour chocolate sundae with tart raspberry sauce. Ton of briar berry notes. A good pucker. Those barrel aged beauties will always be the best of strange roots.

The berries really come out in this. Kind of light for how dark it is.

For real? I haven’t posted this one before? Hmm. From October 2017. This would probably pair beautifully w some vanilla ice cream. Some carbonation has left. Full of briar fruit. Puckery but still balanced by some roasty, dark malts.

Mike Ranella: You gotta keep them out of plain view! Deep in the basement, haha!
Mike Ranella: I have a few more bottles. I have one of The Mark. And a chunk of older briar bottles. One last grand blu in the fridge that will go soon.
Thirsty Miles: Mike R. Most impressive! I’ve got an ‘18 Plague I’m sitting on for a vertical flight this yr, but that’s about as far as my abilities go lol
Thirsty Miles: I also took advantage of that 20% off sale they did last week to really load up. Let’s see how long they last...
Alan Higby: I have my very last bottle of 2015 Plague in the fridge right now 👍
Surprisingly good for being five years old!
