This is good. It’s light compared to the big bba beers now. Also real low (too low) carbonation. Good flavor, good barrel.

Just picked this up last fall, didn’t realize it was bottled 13 years ago. Little head on the pour w/ a very smooth but flattish mouthfeel. Roasted flavor dominates. Amazing after 13 years but not superlative. Cheers to Fritz - still sad about Anchor.

Quite an extraordinary beer. Lots of dark fruit and smokiness. It’s showing it’s 14 years of age, but still very pleasant and also very different. I can’t say I’ve drank a beer like this before. Forgive the pretension, I’m watching Oppenheimer. 😂
