LC; gift from Wrangham. Been a long time since I had any Lost Abbey let alone Red Poppy; expected vinegar but this was surprisingly mellow; beautiful conditioning; red currants, aged balsamic, cascara chocolate.

No idea what year this is from, it came out of a dusty cellar - I've checked it in with the last year of 5% batches. Tart and punchy beer with a lovely throaty sharpness. Bright woodiness from the oak barrels notable on the finish.

Cherries, red poppy seeds wild ale aged on a oak foeder. Lovely soft tart cherries with some spices and a nice oak touch, but not too outspoken
