Off the Beaten Path (Pink Lemons)

This batch, featuring a grist of pils and flaked rye, was opened fermented in our coolship with our house lager strain and then transferred into red wine barrels with our house mixed culture where they’ve rested since December of 2021.

Once the final barrels of the blend were selected, it was transferred to stainless steel with freshly juiced and zested pink lemons from our friends @yuzu_lemons (Bhumi Growers) where it conditioned for 3 months before being primed and bottled.

Bottle conditioned for a year, his beer displays lower levels of acidity with notes of green skittles, eucalyptus, jasmine, pine needle, lemon-lime soda, and finishes with subtle salinity, sage, and grapefruit zest bitterness. Show Less
