Wayne D: First I've heard of this brewery...on my radar now! 👍🍻
Maarvelous Henry is drinking a Matador Red by 8one8 Brewing (818) at Casa de Pizza
Solid red, malty/caramel with a nice grapefruit/citrus/hop bite, now on draft here
Maarvelous Henry is drinking a 4 Calling Birds (2023) by The Bruery at Simi Valley DUI Program
Last of my Christmas beers. Nice aroma, sweet, orange, plum, and oh shit the lakers are losing to Memphis—fucking Memphis 🙀!

Maarvelous Henry is drinking a Blind In Morocco by Pariah Brewing Company at Simi Valley DUI Program
Smells like dark fruit, darker pour than I remember, head fades quickly. A lot of plum, a lot blur of dark fruit flavors. Some vanilla, honey, strong whiskey, and a lot of meh. Maybe kind of sour too.
Maarvelous Henry is drinking a Chief Peak IPA by Topa Topa Brewing Co. at El Patio
West coooooast 💪🌲🍍
Maarvelous Henry: Topa Topa is localish. You can find them on tap in SoCal though, and I like their flagship WCIPA. They make a nice milk stout too. Not a lot of barrel stuff, but a nice local/regional brewery. Best in Ventura County.
Big bourbon/vanilla nose, smells booooozy. Very sweet. Caramel and vanilla, brown sugar, bourbon, heat, creme brûlée. A little too hot, feels like it’s missing something. Drinkable though 🤔
