This is one of their better beers I’ve had and it still tastes like a delusional Englishman burnt his teabags leaving them in boiling water for 5 minutes. A lingering unpleasant bitterness masked by a pleasant nutty and bready taste that I usually expect.

This beer is not in the least bit true to style. The water chemistry seems way off, not a soft water. It’s too hoppy and too dry. It’s not a sessionable beer. The beer is not very clear and has the beginnings of a funky aftertaste.
