Black Diamond Brewing Company

This brewery has closed. Black Diamond Brewing Company opened its doors to public in 1994. It started out as a brewpub in Walnut Creek, California. The brewery immediately become known for its unique and distinctive flavors of ale beers mixed with great food and enjoyable entertainment. After ten successful years, Black Diamond Brewing Company became a full-pledged brewery. Black Diamond Brewery’s name was derived from local coal mines between the 19th and 20th century where ‘black diamonds’ were picked out. The essence of mining reflects hard work and diversity of people. Over time, beer became their favorite drink.
