Sometimes, the English language just doesn’t have a word for something. There are words like YOLO, twerk, and OMG, but for some reason there isn’t a plural word for “you.” Sorry, but “ya’ll” or “youse” or even “you guys” doesn’t quite fill the lexical gap. Our Lexical Gap IPA is straight west coast, you guys (see what we did there?). Brewed with massive amounts of Citra, Centennial, Simcoe, and Columbus hops, finding a word to describe your gratification might be pretty tough. Most expletives, however, will probably suffice. Now Gluten Reduced! In the 1890’s, Mazzie’s Place (pronounced May-zee) was one of Lemont’s go-to establishments for liquor and gambling. This American pale ale is our modern version of go-to. We pay homage to the American novelist, Eleanor Porter, who introduced “Pollyanna” to the world way back in 1913. Eleanor is a full-bodied and layered, robust porter brewed with Belgian caramel malts, American chocolate malts, German hops, and English yeast. This beer is heavy on the rich, dark chocolates with lots of caramelized raisins and caramel, but perfectly balanced with a distinct coffee flavor and moderate hop bitterness. Read Less

2016 GABF Bronze Medal Winner for German-Style Maerzen

Built in 1871, the current La Dolce Vita restaurant in Lemont was once home to The Charles Fruhauf Store. Charles Fruhauf, a German-born immigrant, built his storefront out of Lemont limestone (Athens Marble) and his general store was a Lemont staple throughout the late 1800’s. We brewed this Oktoberfest as homage to him and the beautiful building that still stands to this day. Clean, malty, and just dry enough, this Märzen-style lager is to be consumed in your finest lederhosen or dirndl while eating giant pretzels in an endless beer garden. Read Less

We make beer, so we really have no reason to condemn most things. On the other hand, you are opinionated (we get it), but why be a buzz kill and express disapproval when you can loudly and enthusiastically express approval? Beer drinking is fun, exciting, and often times challenging, so let’s be Pollyannaish about the experience that each new sip provides. This Belgian Golden Strong Ale is brewed with mostly Belgian pilsner malts and a whole bunch of Belgian candi sugar. We then added lots and lots of apricots because apricots are cool and Shakespeare called them an aphrodisiac in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” We’re not sure if that’s true or not, but if you look at them a certain way, they do look like a butt. Harvested locally in Illinois, the wildflower honey gives a hive five of sweetness up front before 100 Eye-Bee-U’s of hop bitterness stings your bee-hind. A plethora of pineapple and grapefruit combs through the sweetness before leaving your palate buzzin’. Certain styles of beer belong on any brewery’s menu at nearly all times of the year. These beers have no seasonality, no gimmicky trends, and can be enjoyed by all beer lovers alike. To us, that style of beer is Pilsner. A brewer’s beer by all definitions, we brewed this German Pilsner for our brewers. With that in mind, we're happy to share this beautiful lager with you. Crafted with our reverse osmosis water, 100% German Pilsner malts, and a blend of German Hallertau and Czech Saaz hops, this crisp and clean pils shows off a soft, delicate malt backing as well as a classic, somewhat fruity, spicy, and floral hop backing.
