in the early 1980s. American Pale Ale is a well-hopped tasty variant of the 18th century British Pale Ale variety called Bitters. Even today you can hear in English pubs people come in and order "bitters" when they want to
drink their pint of refreshing pale ale.

For Americans, winter and pale ale are beers created for each other. Thanks
to its strong taste and higher alcohol content, the beer effectively keeps the winter cold at bay. A local beer fan describes: "… pale ale is like a warm and comfortable leaf, but tastes much better…". At our latitudes, of course, pale ale tastes all year round.

According to its American type models, Stallhagen's aromatic Pale Ale is a

Stallhagen Original is a clear, straw-yellow Nordic lager. A bottom-fermented beer as the Nordic peoples like it. Stallhagen Original is a strong-flavoured, malty, fresh, medium-strength beer.
The head is white and lacy. The flavour is dry. The hop bitterness is well-balanced and rounded with a mild fragrance of hops and malt, while it has a clear aroma of grass and flowers.
Stallhagen Original is very drinkable and has outstanding freshness. It leaves a pleasant, very short and slightly fruity aftertaste, with hops and fresh white toast at the finish.
An excellent thirst-quencher and an all-round beer for serving with most foods, but especially grilled fish and roast chicken.

An excellent beer to accompany food, with its strong maltiness and oaky character. Delikat is balanced, smooth and harmonious. Its head is lacy-thin and chalk-white. The hop bitterness is pleasantly rounded and develops a fine body. The aroma is fresh and mineral.

The aftertaste is sustained, with clear hop bitterness transitioning into sweetness, with slightly burnt tones at the finish.

Stallhagen 1843 is a replica of a beer from the early 1800's, spontaneously fermented using a unique composition of malt, wheat and micro-organisms.

The beer is golden yellow and has almost none of the typical bitterness or hops aroma. The role of hops in the breweries 200 years ago was not as important as it is today. Stallhagen Wild Flower is a golden yellow unfiltered pale ale. The foam flower is white and durable. The fragrance is fresh, interestingly floral and slightly spicy. The round-leaved crust leaves room for hops and honey in taste. The beer is semi-50 and easy to drink. Stallhagen Julbock 6.8% is a velvety-soft, black, full-bodied, elegant double bock beer with a higher alcohol content. The strong roasted malt from black and dark malt varieties is balanced by judicious amounts of hops to give a clean and pleasant finish. The mouthfeel is full-bodied with sweetness. The beer is unfiltered. In this strong double-bock, hints of roasted nuts and dried fruit are combined with nuances of coffee and chocolate.
Three times, Stallhagen Julbock 6.8 % has been picked as the best domestic Christmas beer in Finland.
