Blood Orange IPA

Starting with a very simple grain bill this IPA is all about the hops and blood orange characteristics. Both steamed 3.5L and crystal wheat add a small amount of malt sweetness and a touch of honey. Ekuanot hops add mandarin orange and mango aromatics and flavor, Citra, Simcoe and Motueka all add citrus and tropical fruit notes that complement the large amount of blood orange used for this tropical and citrus forward IPA. The blood Orange also adds a bit of tartness that adds crispness and helps to balance out the bitterness in this single IPA.
