Introducing an adventurous and exotic nitro-sour from the PL brain factory. Tart, fresh yogurt upfront, with a sweet and creamy mango hit...and that’s just the nose!

This brews cheek spanking acidity is pulled into balance by the generous addition of lactose. This paired with the inclusion of oats results in a gentle, creamy mouthfeel - made creamier again by the nitro pour. The only thing wrong with this sour is that we won’t be serving it with a side of hot Rogan Josh.

25 kg of honey and 50 kg of mango puree are added at the beginning of the boil for sweetness and depth while a handful of fragrant cardamom pods in the whirlpool help to build further complexity. Just in case that wasn’t enough, we also load 100 kg of mango puree in to the fermenter with even more cardamom and vanilla. Oh boy...

Finished off with a smattering of mosaic hops for a final tropical hit on the back palate, Mango Lassis is a positively daring experimental brew.
