The hoppy lager can be a tricky one. If over hopped they can get a hot “hop burn.” And hop bitterness doesn’t mesh with a lager as well as it does with an ale imo. This one is really light and the hop character is more fruity than bitter.

I was thinking I just missed last years release but I haven’t checked this in since 2021 so its been 3 years! Super fresh, bottled 3 weeks ago. Still damn good with grapefruit and pine dominating the flavor profile.

The nose was a little off-putting with an odd funkiness/ sour milk note. The taste however is excellent with perfect bitterness and very full body.

Roadhouse is a good brewery and this is my favorite beer I’ve had of theirs so far. Dry, pale, citrusy and highly drinkable.
