I was thinking I just missed last years release but I haven’t checked this in since 2021 so its been 3 years! Super fresh, bottled 3 weeks ago. Still damn good with grapefruit and pine dominating the flavor profile.

The nose was a little off-putting with an odd funkiness/ sour milk note. The taste however is excellent with perfect bitterness and very full body.

Brian Smith is drinking a Wilson IPA by Roadhouse Brewing Company at Untappd at Home
Roadhouse is a good brewery and this is my favorite beer I’ve had of theirs so far. Dry, pale, citrusy and highly drinkable.
Purchased at Mother Earth Brewing Company
The hoppy lager can be a tricky one. If over hopped they can get a hot “hop burn.” And hop bitterness doesn’t mesh with a lager as well as it does with an ale imo. This one is really light and the hop character is more fruity than bitter.
