Syrus Stogran: Where did you get this? I quite like their imperial IPA as well.
JT Brown is drinking a Barrel Aged Blue Buck by Phillips Brewing & Malting Co.
Pretty nice twist to a mediocre beer (albeit a gateway beer for many into the craft beer world). Reminds me of an Islay whiskey Innis & Gunn. Nice flavour although a little tough to find the complexity that barrel aging should produce
Purchased at Cook St. Liquor

Delicious. Sweet, malty liquorice and molasses. Everything I expected this to be and more. A gem of a find!

JT Brown is drinking an Infinium by Category 12 Brewing
Boozy but like a dessert wine. Well balanced and get better as it warms. Enjoyably nursed for a couple of hours. At 11.5% not one to be rushed. Loved it

One of the gateway beers on my journey to snobbery. Still holds up as a sweet malty ale. Not a lot of old beers I’ll go back to (like Rickard’s Red, Sleeman Honey Brown). This one, yes

Delicious! Enjoyed this way more than I would enjoy just a plain old I&G. Cask flavour shines through nicely, and really balances well with the sweet and malt flavours
Earned the Top of the Mornin badge!
Syrus Stogran: I've been meaning to try this.
