A perfectly BA balanced Russian Imperial Stout. Nothing over the top just right. Great barrel notes of oak, some vanilla and got a little cherry with some char. It's a 5

A classic malty hop brew that might be categorized as a West Coast DIPA. Piney sweetness with mild bitterness. Smooth with medium body mouthfeel. A reliable home run!

Craig Durgy is drinking an Oh Honey, Aww Sugar Sugar by Woodbury Brewing Company at Blue Collar Taproom
Light body with a bit of cinnamon honey wood. Some evergreen hop & wheat grain & mellow citrus. A very pleasant blend with fairly light body but delivering a smooth mouthfeel. Solid stuff.

Craig Durgy is drinking a Darkness (2023) Barrel-Aged by Surly Brewing Company at Blue Collar Taproom
Wonderful blend of pleasant spruce & sweet bourbon malt that just melts into light licorice bitterness and subtle black cherry. Medium-plus body with hints of maple chocolate to make a very special BA stout. 4.65

Did a little combo experiment since I’ve reviewed both hop brews previously. So shoot me UT.
Craig Durgy is drinking a Crusher by The Alchemist at Blue Collar Taproom
Intense evergreen/spruce hops that finish with good bitterness. Herbal garlic dankness. Mellow but bitter hop splendor.

Craig Durgy is drinking a 4th D Olde Ale by Kuhnhenn Brewing Company at Blue Collar Taproom
A nice deep grain molasses aroma. Tasting more molasses & vanilla malt, charred toffee and bourbon-esque oak. Medium-plus body with no carbonation to speak of. Almond, caramel notes. A pleaser. 4.35

Since both beers are well acquainted with my UT profile, I did a little blending to complement my shot of Michter’s rye whisky. Life is good.
Purchased at Tree House Brewing Co.
Nathaniel Burne: U should check this in as a new beer
Craig Durgy: Nathaniel B. 🤷🏼♂️
Craig Durgy is drinking a Firestone 23 (XXIII) Anniversary Ale (2019) by Firestone Walker Brewing Company at Blue Collar Taproom
My second try. A classy brew that blends red wine, whisky, dark chocolate, black cherry, toffee & caramel beautifully. Tastefully done. Smooth with decent barrel. A pleasure.
Earned the Firestone Walker Fan badge!Craig Durgy is drinking a Curiosity One Hundred Thirty Six by Tree House Brewing Company at Blue Collar Taproom
Revisit. Lots of stone fruit/garlic over pleasant tropical fruit sweetness. Bitterness rules the finish. Another gem in the ongoing long line of Curiosities.
Purchased at Tree House Brewing Co.
Craig Durgy is drinking a Warlocks And Werewolves by Craft Brewing Company at Blue Collar Taproom
Pleasant nose bringing green banana, red wine & some chocolate malt. First mouthful is thin red table wine with rye whiskey notable to create a somewhat acrid finish. Boozy with sweet fermenting stone fruit. Hint of sour cherry with some coffee-ish toffee
Purchased at GreyWolf Brewing Co
Craig Durgy: Thanks Donny C. !
Donny Costello: Craig D. Wow, sounds very complex. I have not had that one yet.
Craig Durgy: Donny C. It wasn’t a wow beer, a bit thin and acrid but it grew on me with some neat nuances.
Craig Durgy is drinking a Double Clip by Stoneface Brewing Company at Blue Collar Taproom
Been a long time since I had a bomber of this fine DIPA. Milky onion juice with a seamless blend of tropical & citrus goodness. Stoneface has always held a high position on the hop charts for me. Smooth as can be. Excellent.
Purchased at Market Basket

Michael Quatrano: Good session
Craig Durgy: Michael Q. 👍🍻
Craig Durgy is drinking a Battle Axe IPA by Kelsen Brewing Company at Blue Collar Taproom
Bight and duly carbonated with pleasant grass & citrus flavors which present mildly sweet & mildly bitter results. Very milk toast but agreeable enough. Fairly light but not completely. Nothing special but fair hop stuff.
Purchased at Market Basket
Nathaniel Burne: Looks like wrong venue
Nathaniel Burne: Possible check in fail
Craig Durgy: Duly noted and submitted to the committee.
Nathaniel Burne: Purchased at fucking Market Basket??
Michael Quatrano: The ole battle axe.
Craig Durgy is drinking a Reef Dweller by Deep Brewing Company at Blue Collar Taproom
Medium light body with a citrus theme that suggests orange, light lemon & papaya. A bit bready, malty. Medium-light body. Somewhat bright but lightly carbonated. A grassy pith comes through in the finish. Not highly lovable but okay. Borderline 3.5.
Craig Durgy is drinking a German Chocolate Cake BA Framinghammer by Jack's Abby Craft Lagers at Blue Collar Taproom
Coconut chocolate malt with a touch of maple and solid bourbon. Medium body. Roasty cocoa. Pretty drinkable for a BA brew, not viscous or cloying at all. Very nice.
Purchased at Warehouse Wine & Liquors
Craig Durgy is drinking a Peanut Butter Pie Bourbon Barrel-Aged Framinghammer (2023) by Jack's Abby Craft Lagers at Blue Collar Taproom
Had to pull the bottle out of the fire pit to get it in the pic. A sweet blend of chocolaty peanut butter & bourbon. There’s a perfumy/floral flavor that isn’t my favorite but the basic nutty chocolate is solid good.
Purchased at Warehouse Wine & Liquors
Craig Durgy is drinking an Existential Dread by False Hope Brewing at Blue Collar Taproom
