Juice Caboose by Flying Bison Brewing

Easy drinking with a full body and lots of hops on a robust malt bill. Good fruit but not over sweet with a hoppy finish

Tiki Fusion

Can Can

Very easy drinking and refreshing. Lots of citrus and pineapple with some spice notes on the finish. Sweet and fruity with little hops character for an IPA. At 10% ABV it will sneak up on you. Doesn't taste nearly that strong.

Robust malt bill yields a sweet and hearty brew with notes of brown sugar and caramel. Strong but doesn't taste boozy.

Quite nice. The bourbon notes are most prominent on the start with the rye coming through on the finish. Well balanced so that no one characteristic dominates. Very easy to drink

Very crushable. Juicy with nice citrus notes and just enough hops on the finish to remind you it's a beer.

Double White Ale by Marble Brewery

Doug Farmwald is drinking a Double White Ale by Marble Brewery at Doug's Party Deck

Witbier is not a go to style for me but this isn't bad. Notes of banana are complimented by the spices which gives it a more robust body and ameliorates the typical witbier after taste.

For a far west interpretation of a New England IPA, it came out quite well.

Voodoo Ranger Fruit Force IPA by New Belgium Brewing Company

Rather on the sweet side for me, but still quite drinkable. Feels a bit sad to see NB chasing trends. There really is no reason to make an Imperial IPA taste like a hard seltzer.

Doug Farmwald is drinking a Chai Milk Stout Nitro by Left Hand Brewing Company at Doug's Party Deck

Well, it does indeed taste just like chai. Gotta give 'em credit. Unfortunately, I don't really care for chai. Still it is well balanced and certainly drinkable. I think I'll leave this one to the hipsters and get some Guinness for myself

Outstanding IPA. Sturdy malt bill supports and smooths a bounty of fresh tasting and fruity hops. Easy drinking and doesn't taste nearly as strong as the ABV would lead you to expect.

Wow, I love hoppy IPAs and this was almost too much. Beats you upside the head with dank, catty hops. Would benefit from perhaps some citrus or tropical notes. Apparently there is an upper limit to how much hops I Iike in a brew

Cinnamon Babka by Grimm Artisanal Ales

Doug Farmwald is drinking a Cinnamon Babka by Grimm Artisanal Ales at Doug's Party Deck

Not bad, but not what I expected. Strong, boozy and quite sweet. Almost syrupy, like a sweet barley wine. While it is sweet, the cinnamon, cacao, and vanilla are all muddled and hard to differentiate. Not awful, but nothing special either.

Spanish Cedar Jai Alai® by Cigar City Brewing®

Better than I expected. Ample citra hops provides very pleasant citrus notes on the start that gives way to a more bitter finish with notes of pepper and wood.

Hoopy nose with a very citrus forward first impression. Full bodied and slightly sweet with a pleasant bitter finish to keep it from being cloying. Well done.
