Spiced glacé cherry laden sponge cake on sniff, alongside pan-fried, bubbly brown sugar before caramelisation, rubbed woody spice, & old, charred orange slices. Sip burnt edges of a tinned sticky toffee pudding, blobs of redcurrant jam, & pine resin. 3.9

Sweet sniff of orange jelly cubes, orange fondant found in a French Fancy and a Fanta fruit twist drink, then with bitter layers of pine and woody spice. Sip has the last remnants of a squeezed out grapefruit half, caramel brittle, and woody pine sap. 3.9

Charred lemon peel, lemongrass, grissini, crispsbread, and crushed poppy seeds on sniff. Sip is grassy, rustic and bitter upfront, a biting carb, over-grilled brown toast, then rounds out with smashed up hard-boiled lemon drop sweets. 3.8

LCI

Dank sniff of rain-soaked muddy moss, then orange strands, and Club biscuit. Sip is soft and mellow, with muted piney bitterness (as opposed to rasping harshness), old grapefruit peel, coriander stalks, with a pithy web that envelopes all. 3.8

It's called Runnin' cos the sniff is old trainer socks cos genuinely, that's what I am getting! Anyway, bitter & crisp up front, with a piney gloop carrying each mouthful underneath, crushed outer shell from an orange hardboiled sweet. Green herb finish.

Sniff has lemon & lime gelatine, & well fired rolls on sniff. The barley really comes through. Sip is rough, rustic, woody, peppery, with the shattered shards of the well fired roll tops. It does miss the lime/white grape/gooseberry elements however. 3.7

Sniff is lemon, apple flavoured Nerd sour sweets, a touch of woody stem from a rose, fresh compost, & pink peppercorns. Sip is classic Berliner Weisse - steeped lemon & lime peel, woody, grassy, tangy, not sharp, retains a rough, rustic edge throughout.

Creamed corn, and floured top batch sniff. The carb on sip provides an almost coarse texture from ryvita crispbread crumb, stale slivers of lemon peel, morsels of spelt bread, dabs of grapefruit jelly bittersweetness, finishes on a peppery note. 3.8

Velvety/pillowy tropical goodness, although a slight herbal astringent finish

Orange gummy/sugary cake decoration, with fresh ripe tangerines and carrot cake icing topping, with caramel drenched fripped hazelnuts - all on sniff. Sip has gloopy pine, orange juice, burnt brown sugar caramel, drying with charred orange peel.

Chopped brazil nuts and their skins, decent deep espresso coffee, refreshment comes from crushed pine needles, and an orange spritz. 3.9

Immediately drying with white pepper, overly floured crusty batch top, slivers of cut dried honey, and webby grapefruit pith - essentially all the elements that make up a decent Czech Pils.

Pours with a fluffy head, crisp, clean, and drying with sun-kissed, ploughed hay, grass cuttings, and white grape skins. Short bursts of lemon and grapefruit juice when you bite into their segments provide a fruity relief.
