Wow, wow, WAY better than the base! The wafers really enhance the flavours of this beer, lots of biscuity and chocolate notes added as well. The chocolate in particular stayed in my mouth for a long, pleasant while. What an upgrade.

Solvent dominates the smell, possibly sat too long in the Pedro barrel. The taste meanwhile, is great, an all-encompassing fig, and a fiiine sweetness that, to be honest, might actually be tiresome with a larger pour. Still, a fine, fine brew.

Too much of everything, creating an amalgamation where nothing stands out. Why would you make something like it? It's like a Cubric film - a fine experience for the first 2/3 turning into unintelligible gibberish by the end. God, I hate Space Odyssey.

A fine beer, but not excellent. The barrel is a kind of a letdown, adding only a coconut-like hint into the nose - it comes up a littke better in the mouth. A fine work of coffee, though it turns a bit red-peppery in the aroma. Cool.

A mixture of classic Belgian aromas, barrel wood, and an oh so sweet apple. A very complex beer, with the flavours dancing around my mouth, from a pleasantly sweet caramel, through estery spice, finishing with apple flavour accompanied by bubble gum.

I dub this beer "The Hangover Killer." Powerful kick of ginger combines perfectly with the pickle notes. Strong sourness and a slight ginger spice in the mouth. Surprising blueberry finish. God, I could down seven of those in a row!

[15.11.19] ugh, the soy sauce... but cherry and plum are also pretty strong. Powerful gingerbread and dark bread crust flavour. I really dislike the aftertaste.

An unusual aroma of pistachio shells, combined with a more typical prune. The fruit returns strong in the taste, adding a nice smokiness to the brew. Other than that, deep dark chocolate and tobacco are very prominent. The beer has a great balance to it.

The bottle was either from 2019 or '20. Beautiful smell, full on pepper and vanilla. The taste is good also, solid pepper, peanuts... unfortunately, it's a bit watery. Great aftartaste: spice, coffee, and, finally, cinnamon.
