Very smooth whisky tinged toffee malt. Not too complex but very easy going down with some apple moonshine effect. Very nicely mellowed over the past 8 years. Good warmth with some bready nuances as it finishes. Aged very likably.

A fruity malt aroma followed by sweet fermenting fruit salad & leathery malts. Vanilla, fig, raisin & toffee in a relatively thin package that finishes with a woodsy whisky frisky. Boozy imo, but a very nice sipper for that English touch on a barleywine.
