Perhaps the ultimate bane of the Reinheitsgebot, the Pastry Stout has soared to the top of the craft beer world’s ‘Most Wanted’ in the last couple of years. Strong, sweet, and shareable, this beer is not a daily drinker. It’s a special gift from the brewers to the beer lovers. Ours is made with a careful selection of grains both light and dark, common and uncommon, roasty and sweet, with earthy Slovenian hops to cut through the sweetness, extra-long boils for the perfect caramelization, added chocolate, vanilla, and coconut to get a true bounty style taste and maybe most important ingredient: a whole lot of hard work with all hands on deck.
