Climbing Bines is a beer that's close to my heart. Two years ago I started growing my own hops; Landrace Heritage Hops from Detroit- these are hops you don't normally find anywhere except for Michigan. Every year for the past two years I've been harvesting my hops to use in an Amber Ale called "Climbing Bines." A beautifully sweet, malty backbone gives way to a soft bitterness with notes of grapefruit and orange pith for a fantastically easy drinking beer that's perfect while sitting by a fire on a nice, autumn night. Enjoy this beer in the company of the ones you love and respect. L'Chaim!
