Chestnut Hypothesis

Chestnut Hypothesis is the continuation of our chestnut brewing project in conjunction with Route 9 Cooperative in Carrollton, Ohio. The beer pours a beautiful golden-amber. The aroma is sweet with a touch of caramel and earthiness. The beer is refreshing and light, yet remarkably well-bodied. Hints of wheat and oats poke through a sweet light caramel flavor reminiscent of salted caramel. A great beer to drink during the transition from summer to fall while honoring the history of the chestnut tree as a staple food crop. Show Less
