Tollhouse: Vanilla-Walnut

We blended our flagship American stout, Tollhouse, with vanilla and walnuts harvested from our black walnut tree in our bier garten. The beer pours a rich black with a few copper highlights and a thick tannish head. Immediately the aroma of sweet vanilla is present rounded out with a subtle earthiness. The full bodied beer balances the roasty bitterness of an American stout with the sweetness of the vanilla and the earthy tannic highlights from the walnut. This one is definitely an easy drinker, but gets better as it warms as you sit and sip this beautiful beer. Show Less
