This beer was milestone #100 brewed at the Grave! Wanted to do something different and a style I have never brewed before... So why not a Belgian Dubbel?
Taking inspiration from the Belgian classics, this Dubbel is brewed with Belgian Pale, Pilsner and Special B alongside German Munich and Acidulated malts. Hopped with Styrian Goldings and a healthy addition of Dark Candi Sugar into the kettle to add rich, caramel and raisin/dark fruit character. Fermented with Abbey Ale at an elevated temperature to amplify yeast esters.
