The sea… stretching between home and the faraway promise. The excitement and detachment grant me a moment of solace. I stand beside the bow and take a gaze. What adventure awaits in the coming days. A song on the air dances on the deck. The sailors confused move to inspect. No land, no ship, no bird to be found. Where might we find such sound. Its siren rings from beneath the watery depths.
