Probably my favorite beer to come out of Herslev Bryghus. The beer is highly vinous and complex with some pleasant wood, spice, honey and fruit notes to it. The 11% alcohol is well integrated, and the taste is well balanced without overbearing sweetness.

11% Rugøl (lagret på Stauning Rye Whisky fade). Duft af malt/rugbrød og fad. Smag i retning af en blød/afbalanceret Strong Ale (positivt ment) med tydelig fadsmag - som kunne have været Rom, men er Rye Whisky fra Stauning. En ganske fin øl.

Genbesøg. Flot mørk cola med fint skum. Dufter af malt, sødme og rug. Alle dele går igen i smagen sammen med en note af fad. Havde nok gættet mere på rom end whisky fad men lækker er den sgu.
