Wow, what a beast! A Cuvee is a blended beer, in this case a honey stout and maple Barleywine, aged in bourbon barrels for over a year. The result is a hodgepodge of goodness, notes of honey, maple, chocolate & some nuts..and bourbon. Amazing!

A very well-blended mashup where it's all nuance, but no aspect clearly speaks up for itself. The base is clearly chocolate malts, but is dominantly overlaid by the maple barleywine to deliver a smooth, leaning thin elixir that's a real treat to sip.
