Second try. This time I do get some spicy notes, though not clearly identified as peppery. Otherwise, still a lovely smooth chocolate ride with some boozy rumkugel blips. Vanilla is present as a very thin veil. Lervig: you know your shit. Lovely!

Ok, I don't get any clear pepper notes, as advertised. I just get a smooth, chocolaty thing (not too sweet, some saltiness detected?). Basic brew has sweet notes swirling, but they complement, do not lessen the enjoyment. Lovely!

An old can out of the beer collection. Dry notes of cocoa powder and a spicy hint of pepper and cinnamon. Chocolate and dark malts coming through as well. Bit thin body and big on the carbonation but still nice.
