Shadows In the Dark

Inspired by the opening line in Stapleton's song 'Parachute' "Street lights along the highway throwing shadows in the dark." This beer is dark, sweet, creamy, and smooth, just like the song. We boiled this brew for 3 days straight and OH BOY does it show! Then is sat in Weller maple syrup barrels for 12 month. Coming in at a whopping 43 plato (that's a lot of plato for you non-beer-snobs!) We added the final touches of lactose and honey to give this beer the perfect little finish it didn't know it needed.
