We barrel-aged Leather Bound Books and present to you, Rich Mahogany! The beer pours into a glass revealing a dark amber brown that springs forth a pleasing and sustained tan head. On the nose is coffee and chocolate, and the lightest hint of smoke, alongside rich oaky aromas from the bourbon barrels that this beer has been so patiently dormant in. Big Flavor and drinkability are both applicable descriptors here. The body reflects the beautiful clean lagering characteristics of the baltic porter style, yet carries with it roast chocolate and toasty, bready, nutty undertones, rum raisin and dark fruits.
