Coffee Cake: Apple Streusel

We took a meticulously crafted blend of imperial stouts, aged it in apple brandy & maple barrels, and proceeded to get buck with it. Cinnamon sticks, toasted coconut, vanilla, and our house-roasted Black House blend coffee joined the party; the cinnamon is restrained, playing off the barrel character and sweetness of the other adjuncts in an absolutely delightful fashion. It makes for a wonderful convergence of fall flavors that will undoubtedly hold up through the holiday season, if you’re able to hold off cracking it for any length of time.
