Mad Badger Bloodlust

Mad Badger Bloodlust starts as a traditional West Coast Pale Ale, but then we add Blood Orange to accentuate the citrus and grapefruit character. Typical to Pale Ales, we add a bit of caramel malt to balance the hop and grapefruit presence. Amarillo(grapefruit) and El Dorado(Stone Fruit) hops were chosen for their smooth bitterness in the kettle and citrus/fruity qualities. Finally, just enough Blood Orange is added to provide a refreshing aroma and flavor. It’s medium-bodied with medium carbonation.
