Eyeconic

Our 10th and final release with our friend @ominous_omin and we're finishing off with one of our favorite (but rarely brewed!) styles, the not so humble Black IPA.

They say we consume with our eyes first, and it's definitely true, but with this bad boy we've set you up for that classic trompe l'oeil that is Black IPA.

Soft malty goodness courtesy of our trusty @loughranbrewingstores Irish Pale Malt, flaked torrified oats, and Cara Clair, we've fermented out with the epic London III yeast strain for a higher finishing gravity, more residual body, and juicy tropical sweetness. @weyermann_specialty_malts Sinamar is the magic dust here, adding deep dark black colour, but without the accompanying rich, roasty notes we expect from dark malts.

Lash in beautiful fresh Sabro hops, with those creamy coconut?, tangerine, vanilla, cedar and mint notes, and pair it up with the superstar Mosaic for tropical peach, pear, some lime and gooseberry... and we have a right juice party on our hands.

Your eyes are definitely deceiving you, but we hope you'll forgive us for this sleight of hand, and you'll love 'Eyeconic' as much as we do! Show Less
