As others said, unexpected for a barleywine. Relatively light, not super saturated with malt. However, malt sweetness is beautiful, clearly see gingerbread cookies and fruit with a hint of that classic raisin. Clean hops. Closer to a bock or something :)

Can pour. Hazy honey brown w/tons of sparkle, fizzy ephemeral head w/no lacing. Aroma is brown bread, fruit, vanilla. Taste is sweet malt, mild gingerbread. Smooth, thin texture, average carbonation & crisp finish as taste. Thin & fairly weak. 3.2
