This big American style barleywine is a tribute to the famous mountain man, John Colter, who was forced to strip naked and run from a pack of Blackfeet braves. Killing one of the braves and taking his blanket, he managed to survive almost two weeks with only a blanket on his back until he made it to a traders fort on the Little Big Horn. A big malt backbone balances well with loads of hops in this smooth yet hoppy barleywine.
