We bring the most tropical and fruit forward hops we could find to bear into our new IPA.  All of our efforts went into making this the juicier, lighter, hop-focused cousin to Pompous Pelican. It wouldn’t be right just to abandon all of the south with a trip to the tropics however.  So in traditional SoCraft fashion we pulled in a red wheat variety from the neighboring mountains.  Appalachian wheat is a red wheat variety that will add that traditional bready note without overpowering the hops.  It also helps establish that aroma boosting foam sitting atop your beer!  Enjoy this beer with ardor because even though you may hear the tree frog singing all through summer, this Hyla IPA may be in limited supply!!
