For me it’s giving off floral whiskey vibes. With the usual BF character - cloves, licorice and cocoa. And yeah, barrel. If I could grade between quarter points I’d probably rate it a bit higher, but pretty hot so not quite a 4.5 for me.

Just a ho-hum 20% Bruery stout. Nothing ho-hum about the taste though. It's quite delicious. All the characteristics of a Bruery barrel aged stout. Has some chocolatey sweetness and just a hint of boozy flavor from the whiskey barrel. Winner. Thanks Jose!
