A nicely aged bottle, but the profile isn't for me. Strong yeast, and raisin/fermented fruit dominate. There is a decent malt body, but its trending towards the belgian dubbel/tripel flavours. On the plus side, the 13.5% is nicely disguised.

Vault selection. 13.5%. Sooo smooth, syrupy, dark fruit profile.

Round 2 - Catch up - like a molasses and horehound liqueur blended with spiced rum, vanilla whiskey, sambuca and a follow through of Russian coffee and a dense cakey punches. Well done. A solid dessert stout that hits, “like a bat out of hell.”
