Precursor Pils (2022)

Precursor returns as a delicately built, dry hopped pale lager. Hopped in the kettle with Perle, and dry hopped with Calista, this one is less about saturation, and more about the blending of hop and yeast character.

Our intention with this beer was to explore the interactions that occur with actively fermenting lager yeast, and readily available hop compounds due to an earlier than typical dry hop charge.

To that end, we notice impressions of sourdough bread, honey, dried sage, citrus peel, golden straw, honeysuckle, and that classically clean, cold fermented cohesion at a drinkable 4.5% ABV. On draft in art form via our painstakingly elegant 0.5L Dayton pours. Show Less
