Little Joe

Our second small batch brew marries the bold tropical fruit and pine notes of American hops with the subtle roast and wonderfully sweet character of Ethiopian coffee in a session pale ale. A grist based on a scaled-down version of our core pale Old Sport offers plenty of body and soft mouthfeel despite its low ABV, while a double dry-hop schedule with massive amounts of Simcoe and Cluster hops provides huge notes of grapefruit, resin and orchard fruit. We teamed up with our friends at The Coffee Dispensary in Cheltenham, who selected delectable Gelana Abaya coffee beans to be added late in conditioning for their delicious flavours of peach, mango and honey.
