Simon Tomlinson: ESB = Amber. You're mixing up the USA styles with the traditional English styles. USA copied UK & changed. A great example is IPA - ours is malt & USA is hops. And you'll need to research Brown Ale v. American Brown Ale. Completely different beers!! đđ

Simon Tomlinson: harri m. - Generally if it's an EIPA in a 500ml bottle it will be malty - that is what traditional bottles are. If it's 330/440 bottle IPA it is most likely hoppy. That is just a general rule & can be seen in supermarkets where they are in different areas
