This rating is likely unfair. The beer pulled hefty and full of sediment, and looked bright and opaque, indicating a likely issue with the line. It was extremely bitter and difficult to palette, which is very unlike Outer Range, matters of the IPA.

Perhaps it's because I earned it with my turbs, or maybe it's the awesome slopeside location, or the amazingly awesome bartender (you rock, Mitch!), but the Spruce Tip is appropriately sweet and bitter, like a good CO IPA should be.
