Sam is drinking a Transitive Nightfall of Diamonds by Insurrection Aleworks at Insurrection AleWorks
Insurrection has always done the classic styles well. This Altbier checks all the boxes. It’s crushable for sure. Light, malty, and pretty darn refreshing. I enjoyed this one and would definitely get it again (esp. if there are only 4 options 🙄).

Sam is drinking a Hyzer Flip by Insurrection Aleworks at Insurrection AleWorks
This beer is brewed in the same vein as all the IAW classics from years past. Great hop combo featuring citra, strata, and mosaic. Nice middle of the road ABV. Hazy and super juicy. This crushable IPA can be had again and again coming into spring.

Sam is drinking a Double Bespoke by Insurrection Aleworks at Insurrection AleWorks
What the heck is going on with this place? They have that massive brew house next door and they can only get 4 of their own beers on tap? What the heck? This beer was pretty good, but my expectations were high. Good flavor with a little dankness.

Sam is drinking a Rye Demise by Spoonwood Brewing Co. at Spoonwood Brewing Co.
Clearly back in 2016, I hated this beer. In 2024, I really enjoyed it. However, I’m still not convinced SW gave me the right beer. Maybe their lines got crossed? This beer was sun colored and juicy as heck. Much different than past Rye IPAs I’ve had.

Man, it’s great to have OH back in the beer fridge. Happy half birthday to me! Killer collab from two of my favs. Bissell and Other knocked this beer out of the park. Smooth and easy to drink. If I was a lobster, I would double claw this brew. 🦞
