Someone reviewed as "poor man's Stay Puft" but finding to be very different beer. Loved original SP back in the day but was straightforward marshmallow indulgence. This has more bitter chocolate & some berry fruit aspect cutting through sweetness. Liking.

Heading into fairly full murk with dankness...which usually just my sort of (pale) beers. But here the flavour balance isn't quite right leaving a (to be fair) marginally unappealing acridity in the finish.

MS St Albans branch seems to have sorted out its cask temperature issues these days....this pretty much what should be served at. It's ok but hop selection used here doesn't particularly appeal to me.

Not that fond of Blandford Fly and this cut down ABV ginger flavoured beer has similar strange aftertaste.
