Good chocolate flavor but not as boozy as I had hoped. Certainly overpriced. A lot of solids in the beer though, looks like pieces of the bourbon barrel. Overall disappointed even though it’s a fairly good beer. Expect better from Spindletap

So so so good, hard to share, but definitely makes you want to tell everyone about it. Boozy and hoppy and malty and smooth and just perfect. Hard to believe something 17% is so drinkable

I can’t drink this kind of beer anymore. For someone who likes Pilsners: I’ll give it credit for not being watered down. The flavor and hops mix are just weird to me, not enjoyable. Better than your usual mass produced pils I guess

Very light, could use a little more lime, but just the right amount of salt. Definitely better than I expected. Not my style of beer but would be enjoyable with some Mexican food or while enjoying a summer day

Better than I expected. Good hoppiness, kinda citrusy and refreshing, pushing the limits of an American IPA and closer to a west coast bitterness. Smooth finish. I’d drink again
