Definitely more interesting than balanced, this has a farmhouse yeast over a tripel style (I think?). This one arrived a bit undercarbonated and I don’t think the yeast and dark malts jive as well as in lighter styles, but it just about works.

I think people are really under rating this one, or maybe drinking it on a rainy day, because it is an amazing balance of a cloudy pale with that zesty funky Brett farmhouseness. Slight ascerbic/dryness but not chalky, full and foamy. A rare beer!

It’s ‘solid’ but the rare balance to this IPA gives it some mojo. Nothing is overstated or too subtle. Exactly what you want, strong yet sessionable.
