It's (almost) THAT time of the year again: Mai / May Bock season! We humans quickly managed to virtually destroy the seasons in terms of weather, let's at least try to keep 'em in beer. Nuff preached. This is just very very tasty & accomplished stuff.

Retro from 7th April. First time I had this beer, me thinks it's new on the local market. Didn't make tasting notes, from what I remember it's actually decent, also taking into account its humble price tag. No off-flavors. No frills. But, no glory either.

Earned the Untappd at Home (Level 83) badge!

Yeah I know, right after a longer, sweaty steep hike up a hill (or was that a mountain we climbed?🤔) almost ANY beer has the potential to taste awesome 😏.. but in this case my appreciation is objectively justified. Because this IS just fantastic.

May be more accurately called Festbier or Helles Märzen. Seasonally brewed for the Autumnfest in Rosenheim. Relatively mild yet quite likeable aroma of lightly toasted bread & flowery hops. Same taste - L bitter. Full body, smooth. Elegant, understated.

BBD 22.11.2024. Nothing much seems to have changed since last time I drank this, it's still quite mediocre: L mango peach aroma; slight caramel w/ US hops - rough & tumble taste, very low bitter, "watery" sensations. It's all there, but only slightly..
