Jon Juan: I really like the insights you can get on this beer at https://www.reddit.com/r/bois/. But me? I'm getting liquid caramel, intense layers of fruit. Like fruit taffy or fruit roll up but the organic kind not the kid version. Also this is perfectly carbed.

Oh baby, this is a classic West Coast ipa. The hop bill is old school too. Big pithy and woody aroma. Hemp. The taste is raw with tangerine and grapefruit, but then it drops resin and grass and weed and hemp. Tobacco. Bitterness. Woody. Black pepper. Good

Absurd expression of coffee, leans into hazelnut and earthy sweet chocolate and nuttiness. The alcohol is a kahlua sweetness, with liqoure undertones. It's very sweet but the 87 pounds of coffee come through, it borders on being a "coffee drink", but good

I love you Adam but not as much as I love https://www.reddit.com/r/bois/. Everyone check out /r/bois for more Bruery old ale content. Bottled 04/16/2013. Older than your kids. This tastes like liquid Smuckers. Like the grape kind. But with barrel. 1/3

It's subtle and not just putting them in your face like a Sydney Sweeney. This has aged gracefully, and could probably go 5 more years. The best anny.
Jon Juan: Best anniversary release from The Bruery and a real testament to why you age old ales. It's like Revolutions strawberry jacket without cheating. Kind of like a cute boi (shout out to /r/bois) without going full Charlie Theron. Cheers!

Thanks Adam. Probably the best use of Basil Hayden barrels. This is sweet and rich, with raisins and spice. Lots of oak and wood tannins too. The spice feels like cardamon or allspice. Makes my tongue tingle. Dark fruits and good carb on the back. Solid.
Incredible what a base does to a beer. The VSOD here is worn and less sweet, and even with the cocoa this is somehow less sweet than regular supermassive. Deep lava cake, cacao, vanilla, leather, spice and wood, char, oak, and nuttiness. Complex and big.
