Isaac Hughes: cloudbursty?! that’s a real compliment!
Tom Hughes is drinking a Seastack IPA by Camp Colvos Brewing
A new offering at Colvos - Seastack. The name reminds me of ‘Sleestak’ from the 70s TV show ‘The Land of the Lost’. Sleeestak! Sleestak! So frightening. Anyway, this delightful brew is nothing like that. A light hazy sweet treat. Kind of Cloudbursty.

First time seeing this in the beer isle and it was on sale, this helps with indecision. Nice piney top with a sweet middle and a clean finish. Kind of reminds me of Lucille. Pairs well with this beautiful sunny day. A 1st day of Springkind of day.

A Mexican lager is always good when it’s cold and accompanied by a delicious plate of Mexican food. Nothing exceptional - it could have been bottled in the same plant as Corona or Sol, and probably was - but good!

Tom Hughes is drinking a Trail Blazer Pale Ale by Métier Brewing Company at Toulouse Petit Kitchen & Lounge
Lively and nuanced. A lot going on here. I would like to get back here, soon. This and the fennel sausage pasta and the brussels sprouts at Toulouse Petite, rahyummm!
Earned the Middle of the Road (Level 48) badge!
You can always count on Reuben’s, a brewer that consistently makes tasty beer. But this one is not my fav. Sometimes the ‘smoky’ tastes a little like leather. Like the taste of my baseball mitt when I was a wee lad and would chew on the ends.
