Surprisingly not an overly thick body, obviously big whiskey notes are dominant but it’s not overly harsh burn. Good barrel beer but doesn’t really jump out in any specific area.

Personally I really like the malt pale ale style. Full of that rich fresh wort malt flavor. Has a peppermint hop note that bleeds into underripe orange and grapefruit rind. Not quite the fruity bomb they describe but a good pale ale!

Well done! Rich grainy base like a pils but with a softer fruitier yeast note as lower bitterness. Finishes with just enough hops to balance.

Exactly what you expect. Crisp but substantial malt base like white bread, enough body to not make this taste like a “lite”. Yeast adds just a bit of character but neutral in general. Restrained but slightly present noble hop character. A better PBR?

Honestly not getting a lot of lime flavor without drinking it side by side with the original. Refreshing and light but not too light. Smells bright and limey tho.
